First Community Bank is a family-owned banking chain around the southeast. They wanted to run an ad campaign across print, digital, and outdoor platforms targeting its local customer base. Their goal was to remind customers that their small, local and individualized approach to banking is better than dealing with the corporate hierarchy. A copywriter and I developed "The Better Banking Story" idea after coming up with a few nursery rhymes in which we swapped the traditional wording with banking lingo. Paired with fairy-tale-esque illustrations that are both eye-catching and comforting, we told The Better Banking Story.
