The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay tapped me to design a logo and collateral for their Get Loud! events. Get Loud! is a program that was started to help bring awareness to domestic abuse using high school sporting events. Each high school participating would receive a box containing a booklet and posters to get them started. My goal for this design was to create something respectful, but engaging. I used colors that are attention-grabbing but not tacky, and elements that are modern and youthful, in order to tap into the demographic of high school students who are the main participants in these events. Get Loud! is placed in a box to help separate it from the number 9, which represents the amount of seconds between domestic assaults. I also added three small lines in a shape commonly recognized as symbolizing a loud voice or other noise.
